Still bleeding 2 weeks in, normal or not?

Hi. I had a natural miscarriage 2 weeks ago today. I’m still bleeding but I did a test today and it has come back negative. Is it normal to still be bleeding after 2 weeks? It’s not a massive amount and most of it appears brown although some is red with the occasional small clot. Unsure whether I should ring the open access unit or just wait it out... I just want to stop bleeding so I can attempt to move forward with my life. I feel stuck in limbo 😕 ... TIA xxx

Sorry for your loss. I had medical management for my mmc rather than it happen naturally but I bled for almost 5 weeks, the last week of which was my period starting back. I was advised I might bleed for up to 4 weeks and did call for advise when it was a bit longer but that's when it changed and I knew it was my period.

I hope it tails off for you soon. A quick call might give you a bit more reassurance. I know I just wanted it to stop as it seemed like a constant reminder.

Yes that’s exactly how it feels. My 17 year old was moaning today about the fact she’s still bleeding from having a coil fitted my partner told her to be thankful it wasn’t a constant reminder of what had been lost. Perhaps a little harsh but true unfortunately. It keeps appearing to be tailing off then comes back the next day. I’ll see how it goes for another day or 2 then give them a call. It’s the school holidays at the moment so we have plenty to keep ourselves occupied to an extent. Just wanna go to sleep and wake to find it’s just a huge nightmare but hey ho.... At EPU they said to go back if bleeding for two weeks or longer as it could be a sign miscarriage is incomplete. Sorry you're going through this.

Thank you @sophied1983 it cleared now. I lost a large tissue like clot yesterday and since then the bleeding has stopped thankfully xxx
