Miscarriage: What did I pass?

I was 7 weeks and 4 days pregnant and I passed a very large circular clot. Coukd this be the placenta and the sac?

Quite possibly, I had a similar experience at about the same weeks/days. Sorry for your loss, take it easy.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I found it really confusing to know what I was passing. I passed several very large clots when miscarrying - about the size of my fist. But days later, I found out that the actually pregnancy sack was retained. I think it's unlikely that you'll be able to identify the pregnancy sack, so I'm afraid you may not know for sure. I hope you have a smooth physical recovery. X
