Hi all hope someone can shed some light on this.

I'm due to take tranexamic acid soon to help reduce bleeding for miscarriage as its been 6 weeks since and I'm still bleeding with clots.

My question is that when it stops the breakdown of blood clots where does it go? Will I come out in next period? What if I get pregnant after taking this, will my uterus be OK to handle the pregnancy?

Another question is that, when the miscarriage bleeding slows down with this medicine, how long after will my 1st period start? Does it go back to normal?

I will be having a telephone appointment with Dr but wanted to know opinions.

Hi Motherhood123

I know this post is over a year old but just wondering if you managed to get the answers to your questions.

I am going through exactly the same thing at the moment and have been asking the same questions!
