NHS recurrent miscarriage clinic

I have my first NHS recurrent miscarriage clinic appointment tomorrow. I just wondered, does my partner need to attend this first appointment. Do they do anything on your first appointment?

It probably varies from hospital to hospital. We had two appointments and my partner came to both, but I can't remember if that was compulsory. The first appointment was mainly talking through the process and some blood tests - mainly for me but my partner also had a karyotype blood test. The blood clinic was drop in though so technically we could have gone on a different day with the paperwork. Sorry, not very helpful! It should say on your letter if you both need to attend.
