Hi I started bleeding on the 31st I went to hospital they informed me my baby had no heartbeat I was 11 weeks but baby had stopped at 9 weeks I was told to go home let it happen naturally on the 1st I got really bad contractions I passed my baby still in sac and what felt like the afterbirth was sat on toilet for over a hour I had heavy bleeding that day and the 2nd then it went to like a normal period. I rang early pregnancy unit today cause I was told to do a pregnancy test it’s still showing positive but very faint compared to my first test. I took my son out on his bike last night wen I come in and went to toilet I lost a big clot but just one and no heavy bleeding is this normal? Iv been told to leave it another week and do another test to see what it says. Am in no pain now and bleeding is very light one pad lasts all day and it’s only really there wen I wipe tmi sorry just wondering if this is normally x

Sounds normal. I bled for a while after miscarriage. Main thing is to watch incase it starts getting heavy again as you may need a d &c. Hugs from me as it’s tough

Sounds very normal to me. When I miscarried, I bled for 3 weeks with on and off clots. It stopped for a couple of days and then started again. If you are worried call your early pregnancy unit

How long did it take everyone to get a negative pregnancy test? X

I lost my baby at 6 weeks and got a negative test at 3 weeks but I know that it can take longer if you are further on. I know my hcg levels were never very high so it didn't take long to leave my system

Hi, please get it checked out.
I delivered a baby at 16 weeks, bled as normal then spotting, no temp or bad smell.
16 days later i had mild cramping them flooded through my clothes and passed a big clot. Went back to hospital, another set of anti bs. Scan then showed i had 3cm of retained tissue and clots. No infection showed on my bloods. Had to have a d and c to clear everything out and two lots of anti bs as a preventative measure. Also the pregnancy test was negative at 16 days post delivery.
Bleeding can be normal but can be a sign of something that needs checking up xx

You can demand a d&c if it all gets too much. I’ve been bleeding since the 22nd December and had a scan today and now say I need a D&C. apparently I have to wait over a week before I can get an appointment for one. I wish I had asked for one back on 3 January when I had my last scan

Oh no bless you am mainly just spotting now to how I was I feel fine in myself no pain or nothing so il see what they say when I ring back on Wednesday depending what pregnancy test comes back as x
