Hi, I found out last Friday at a routine 12 week scan that very sadly our baby died at 7+weeks old. I have had no symptoms what so ever so very a massive shock to me and my partner.
After being given the options I didn’t want to wait for baby to pass naturally so opted for medical management. I took the first pill on Saturday and then went in for the process on Monday. I was in all day and all night and nothing passed, I only started a normal period amount of blood but it didn’t work for me. Ever since I have been in absolute agony, I have been back into hospital for stronger painkillers since as I couldnt deal with the cramps and pain.
I have now been told I have to just sit tight and wait. I will have to go for surgery but haven’t been given a date until the new year and I don’t feel I can wait another 3+ weeks in all this pain!? In an examination at the hospital yesterday my cervix is closed and my blood is easing off so don’t feel that baby is going to pass anytime soon!
Has anyone else had this type of experience and had to wait in pain for 3+ weeks for the operation!?
