MC due to bacterial infection

I have just had a consultant appointment to discuss the results of a post mortem and various tests done following my recent 16wk mc. Although the hospital has admitted to an omission in my care, as not all the required tests / swabs were carried out (that's another battle) when I was admitted to hospital for my medical management, the tests that were done have indicated a possible bacterial infection in my placenta. While incredibly sad, I guess this is probably one of the better outcomes in terms of thinking about future pregnancies. Has anyone out there got success stories after losing a their baby in the same way?

Oh gosh I'm so sorry to hear that. I can't offer advice but I wish you all the best with your next one- hopefully your treatment will be more intensive next time as a preventative measure. Xx
