Could I still be getting positive like this nearly 3 and a half weeks after my HCG was at 8 from last miscarriage? Or could this be new?

If new it would be 6th pregnancy none successful yet :(

Sorry to hear about your MC, I had one back in August and it took me about 7 weeks for the test to show negative. I think mine was still quite dark 4 weeks after however my blood test was about 50 then, not 8... so, it could well be a new one. Can you take a digital test and see if changes over a week or so?

Thanks, I just don't know what to to think. I miscarried at 5 weeks and at that point my levels were only 250 and had gone to 60, 27 and then 8 within a week. Considering they count anything under 5 as 'not pregnant' I would have thought surely it would be gone by now!

I will have to keep taking over the week and see if it gets darker.

I think this looks like another pregnancy, an hcg of 8 would not produce a clear line.

Talkwhilstyouwalk thanks, so do you not think it could be from left over 'product'? I'm worried about that as well though I've had no pain or bleeding since the miscarriage.

I think I'll make an appointment just to be sure.

Unlikely given that your hcg was on the way down and practically negative at 8. If the line gets stronger then that's a good sign. Everything crossed for you! X

I did think my last levels were surely too low to mean anything but probably most sensible to get checked in case.

My HCG was 5 when I had a chemical pregnancy the test was negative so I'd assume new. I'd try a clear blue that says how many weeks.

Thanks I will give it a go! Just want to know one way or the other.
