Due date, feeling very emotional

I miscarried back In May at 12 weeks. It’s my due date today. I’ve been that busy today I didn’t even think about it or what the date was. I literally feel like I’ve just been smacked in the face as I just remembered. I all of a sudden feel sick and very emotional right now. :(

I’m so sorry, that must be really tough. Something im dreading myself in March. I think it is completely normal. I don’t know what to say except be kind to yourself, allow the Grief to happen. I hope you feel better soon, it’s a tough journey isn’t it! X

Sending you hugs Flowers

It’s something I’m already dreading. I think you just have to go with your feelings. Don’t hide from it or else you can’t begin to process or heal.
Hope your ok x

I was thinking yesterday I should be on MAT leave now as my DD was 16th Dec. :(

It is really tough, I felt exactly the same.

So sorry op, it's truly shit. Don't bottle it up though. Hope you have some decent real life support Thanks

It's horrible. I had mine pass in October. It wasn't just the day but the week before and time afterwards as well. Couldn't help myself from thinking every minute of every day what I 'should have' been doing instead. How life would have been. It still kills me now to even think about the pain. So raw still.

Sadly it coincided with another failed round of IVF. Terrible timing.

After the MC, I'd stupidly convinced myself I'd be able to cope with my due date as long as I was pregnant again.

I'm not sure how you ever get over it.
