To try and keep this short...
I had medical management on 30th August - 9 weeks ago!
On 20th September I was scanned as I was having a bad bleed and still testing positive. The outcome was 13mm retained tissue.
On 2nd October at a return scan they said that it had passed.
Fast forward to now, and I’ve been having terrible bleeds. Testing negative. I had a scan yesterday which revealed 4.8mm irregularity which they believe is retained tissue missed from last scan, or blood clot, or polyp. They think a blood clot however is unlikely as it’s not the usual make up, and polyps don’t generally spring out of nowhere.
They’ve told me to wait a cycle or two. The doctor decided no internal camera/procedure because it’s so small and the risk of anaesthetic/perforation of uterus would be too high.
So here I am, 9 weeks now the line, totally confused!!
What makes it worse is the week before they put me on Tranexamic Acid so if this is retained tissue, the acid has actually prevented it from coming out!
I feel like it’s a total mess up?!
