Miscarriage

I had a miscarriage about 4 weeks ago and I was due on my next period 2 days ago. Is it normal to be late after a miscarriage? I can't get excited or my hopes up that's I'm pregnant again incase I'm just late as my hormones are all over the place

Yes I had a miscarriage which started on 23 Sept and still waiting for first period. I did feel like I ovulated last week so expecting my period next week maybe, which will be about 6 weeks after mc. Hope you're doing ok

Also probably depends on what path you took to manage the miscarriage, mine was no intervention and so bled for 4 weeks (v light from week 2, spotting really). They told me to do a pregnancy test this week (which will be 5 weeks post miscarriage) and to come back to them if positive as might need ercp. I was impatient and took a test last week as felt different and it was negative already so think my mc is finished now. Did they advise you on that?

Thankyou, I felt like I was going to come on a few days ago as I was aching but nothing as of yet. I took a test a week after my miscarriage as mine happened very fast and I was bleeding heavily and it came back negative. I'll just wait it out a few more weeks maybe my body is readjusting.
