Hello Everyone, I initially downloaded this app and signed up for information and support for being pregnant, I never thought I'd be here writing for support about losing my baby at 7 weeks due to an ectopic pregnancy.
I had no bleeding but substantial pain for a few days and luckily my GP forced our local EMU to see me. During the scan they couldn't find baby and also found a large cyst so operated the next day. As the began the procedure I had a large internal bleed (they didn't know about this until they 'went in'). They managed to save ovary which had the cyst but had to remove my tube where baby was. Physical recover is going well, it's only day 4 but I'm so emotional. Also the 'bed rest' recovery is driving me insane.
I'm wondering if anyone has been through similar. I'm scared for what the future holds - this pregnancy wasn't planned but we we're delighted. We'd planned to try next year after our wedding but it feels like a life time away before I know if I still 'work'
I'm scared this baby is forgotten, I know I won't forget but I don't know. I want to get something as a reminder/remembrance- something small but meaningful. But everyone I look, I can't help but think I should be looking for baby grows and exciting things so I cry and give up!
