Second period after miscarriage

Hoping to get some insight from the hive mind of MN, as google is not really helping me
I had a MMC in June, with EPRC a few days later, and then had a period in July. Due to complications I was told not to TTC at that stage so I went back on the pill. Have just had my first pill-free week since being back on it, and had a normal bleed, but even though I’ve been back on the pill for a week now the bleeding hasn’t totally stopped, there’s still brown blood when I wipe. I’ve also still got cramping. Did anyone else experience this after MC? Am back and forth to the Dr all the time for various different things so don’t want to bother with GP if normal, but don’t want to wait if not!

Hi I had a second MMC in June too and a erpc few days later after which I experienced bleeding which went on for about a week or so. Nothing until the 12th of July when I experienced a heavy brisk loss which apparently can occur after surgery this continued for near on 11 days then stopped. Had a short period which lasted for 3 days on the 9th of August then a day of brown on the 16th of August then light brown again at the end of the month then the beginning of September about 3 days of light pink, brown then light brown, pink toward the end of September for about 3 days. I went to my doctor's who said it can take some time for your periods to go back to how they were. I did get mild cramping a few days before the brown and sore boobs. X
