Private recurrent miscarriage testing?

Hi ladies, sadly I've just been through my second miscarriage this year, started bleeding at 10 weeks but scan showed embryo died at 8 weeks. It's been a horrible time as you can imagine. The hospital won't do any testing until I've had 3 mc, I'm 40 next year and really don't want to waste any time so DH and I have decided to pay to have recurrent miscarriage testing done privately.

Please could I ask for any personal recommendations on which consultant to see/where to go? We live in London but happy to travel if we need. Thanks so much x

I'm in a similar situation -just been diagnosed with my second MMC this year, I'm 39-40 in July next year. Both babies died around 6 weeks (3.1mm and 4.2mm) but no sign of a prob till a scan at 8+6/9 weeks.

I'm in shropshire though-but I've heard lots of good things about St Marys (professor Lesley Reagan) if that helps?

I'm looking into Birmingham women's/tommys miscarriage clinic or Professor Quenby in Coventry.

My local recurrent miscarriage specialist charges £240 for a consult if that helps you get an idea of cost. Also poss to get blood tests done via Nuffield health-anything from £50-£500 a test depending on what it's testing for.
