Chemical pregnancy?

Hey all, I've made a thread on this before but can't find it!

Last period was 18th August.

Had a faint positive pregnancy test on Monday.

Spotting Wednesday, followed by period like bleeding Thursday, Friday (with some very intense pain), and still bleeding today.

Have done a CB digital today, which has shown 'not pregnant'.

Have an appointment at EPU in the morning, but I'm just trying to figure out what the hell has happened?

Increasing the chances of getting pregnant, you must calculate your ovulation day, I accurately discern my ovulation time. And to do that, You need to know exactly your cycle. Each woman is unique in his body and mind,do not forget your cycle is personal.

The cycle generally of 28 days is made of 2 phases: a follicular phase of 14 days and a luteal phase of 14 days, with ovulation being the 14th day. When the cycle changes in duration, it is mainly at the rest of the follicular phase, the luteal phase remaining around 14 days. To get an idea on my day of ovulation, I have to remove 14 days from my total cycle duration (for cycles between 24 and 40 days). Beyond these limits, the cycle is unlikely to be ovulatory, so it is not possible to define the day of ovulation.

Thank you, that's really quite informative, however it's not really answered by question as such Sad

Tbh you prob won’t find out what’s happened now as the hgc will have left your system if you were pregnant a blood test at the time of you positive test would have shown some level of hgc but you may have misscarried soon after. False positives is very unlikely worth mentioning to your gp hope this helps xx

I just want to know if it's over. I'm guessing it is.

Just done another test with FMU - negative. EPU appointment at 10.

Not sure how I feel. I was devastated when I got the positive, I have PND already.

Gonna have a nice shower with baby DS2, I feel really gross 😔

Couldn't find anything on scan at EPU and womb lining didn't look like it should in early pregnancy.

Lovely nurse took bloods and gave cuddles where needed. Have to go back in 48 hours for repeat bloods unless today's come back as negative.

How do you feel? That was quick to get the results

Ohb0llocks · 23/09/2018 18:03

I feel a bit meh.

She took the bloods this morning at about half 10. Said they'd be back for 4 and that if they were negative she'd phone, and if I didn't hear anything to come back on Tuesday morning.
