How long did it take for your first period after miscarriage to arrive?

I had a miscarriage at 5 weeks on 3rd/4th August. I got a negative HPT pretty much straight after. Before my miscarriage my periods were regular between 28-30 days.
I still haven’t had a period, I’m now in CD38 from the miscarriage being CD1. HPT’s are negative.
Really getting me down as I just want my body to go back to normal so we can try again. I’m 36 next week so not exactly young in terms of TTC and scared that it’s not going to happen. We had been TTC for number 2 for 5 months before I got pregnant and miscarried.
Any reassuring messages would be greatly received Sad

It took about 7 weeks or so. Think it's different for everyone but your they did go back to regular after that one long gap.

Sorry for your loss x

It took over seven weeks after my first miscarriage. However, I ovulated three weeks after my last one and became pregnant again then.

I’m sorry for your loss. Flowers

Sorry for your loss. I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks at the end of July and still no AF. Guess it’s just a waiting game. Hopefully it won’t be too much longer for either of us.

@Pea1984 sorry for your loss too Flowers
Fingers crossed we will see our AF soon (didn’t think that would be something that I would want!)
