Hi I had SMM almost 5 weeks ago but have yet to have a period. HPT are showing negative.
Just wondering how long it took for everyone's bodies to get back to normal?

I’m sorry for your loss. It took me a couple of months to get my first period, my cycles have always been irregular. Hope you are doing ok x

Really sorry for your loss. I had my second miscarriage in July. It took around 7-8 weeks for my first period to come.

Thank you K0013 and Watermelonlover* for your replies and kind words.
I'm ok, still quite up and down- I seem to burst into tears at the drop of a hat. It doesn't help that two women have just given birth who I work with and a further four are due when I should have been. I spend my days trying to avoid them.
Hoping everything settles soon and my periods return to normal.
Hope you are both having a relaxing weekend x

It certainly doesn’t help being surrounded by pregnant women, I’m in the same position but we will get through this 😊
Thank you, hope you are too x

Hi, sorry for your loss, it's been 11 weeks since I had surgical management for my 2nd miscarriage. I bled for about a week or so after then on 12th of July had a really heavy bleed which then tailed off to light bleeding for about 11 days. Last month and this month have had lower back ache and in lower tummy which felt similar to when I was going to get my period, had two days of light red blood then nothing until a few days later when it went to just light brown, similar thing has happened this month. Me and hubby have been trying again as we would love to have more children and give our little boy siblings. I've got a appointment with my GP this afternoon to discuss what's going on, they fobbed me off when I went in July but will won't be this time. Sending you all lots of love xx
