On and off bleeding

Hello girls, I had a miscarriage on Thursday and I have been bleeding heavy till last night I haven't been bleeding all night and all day and all sudden I have started to have blood there when I wipe and have blood clots again, does anyone know why this is happening?

I think it's quite normal to have stop and start bleeding for a while, especially the later you are in the pregnancy.

Mine was like that for almost three weeks, with a major haemorrhage at the start, another roughly a week later with more tissue, and bleeding and clots in between and after.

I thought it was all done at first but there was quite a bit more to come which I wasn't ready for. Worth making a little kit and keeping it to hand for a while - sanitary supplies, wipes, spare knickers, spare trousers, paracetamol etc. It gave me some comfort knowing I was prepared.
