So, I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks a few weeks ago - it was a blighted ovum so even though I was 8 weeks all I had was an empty sac and the miscarriage didn’t involve loads of bleeding, even at its heaviest point (not sure if that’s relevant!).
I started bleeding with my miscarriage about 22 days ago, heaviest bleeding was 18 days ago and bleeding stopped completely 12 days ago. 12 days ago was also when I had a scan which confirmed everything had gone, pregnancy test was still positive at this point, and test I did at the weekend was still very very faintly positive.
Today I’ve started bleeding again, but really lightly, not sure if it will increase. Could this be just some leftover blood from the miscarriage? It seems quite early for my next period, but I’m not sure? Is it possible (and I darent even think this really!) that it’s implantation bleeding?? My and OH haven’t been actively trying to not get pregnant.
Obviously I know no one will be able to say for sure, but it feels like all these options are a bit unlikely? If it is a period, is there anyway to tell for sure? We want to try again and knowing I’ve had a period will reassure me that my cycle is back to normal etc.
