MC last week, when did people get a BFN test?

I suffered a MC last week i was about 9/10 weeks but the pregnancy stopped developing at 5. I had to have Medical Management (tablets) to help things move along that was 8 days ago, i bled straight away. Ive now pretty much stopped bleeding so i took a test and it was still positive. When did people get a negative? I know it varys with people, just looking for others in this situation. Any advice on when i would ovalute now? Obs i know i need a negative pregnancy test before we can ttc again. Just looking for advice please xx

I had a miscarriage on 6th August (started naturally and then had surgical management to complete it), had bleeding and cramps for 9 days and finally got a BFN on Monday 20th so two weeks later. We have started DTD again but I'm not going to bother with OPKs this cycle so will just DTD regularly and hope for the best! I don't think I've ovulated yet as I haven't had EWCM but who knows! There is a ttc after miscarriage thread on the Conception board which has quite a few people in the same situation. Good luck!

Thank you for replying @mostimproved and im sorry for your loss. Maby im testing too early then, just assumed now the bleeding had stopped it might of come up negative. Good luck in ttc to concieve and i wish you all the best xxx

I got a negative 10 days after the bleeding started. Sorry for your loss x

@Rainbow714 I have a load of pregnancy test strips that I got from Amazon, so I started testing about a few days after the m/c started and eventually got the negative, and yes I had stopped bleeding by then. It was so weird testing and hoping for a negative, but I knew it meant we could start trying again so I was happy when there was no second line! x

I am a little confused as i stopped bleeding which is why i took the test but about a day after ive started again its only light but now not sure when to test it will of been 2weeks tomorrow since the MC started xx

Ive taken a test today as i was advised to by the hospital. Its negative which i am relived about, im still bleeding lightly though is that normal? X

I was advised by the hospital to come back if I still had any bleeding at all after 2 weeks, but I had surgical management so the advice may well be different. Maybe give them a call to check?

So i stopped bleeding 2days ago the day i got a negative pregnancy test, but ive started bleeding again? Any advice please? Or is it AF? So confused & slightly fed up after bleeding for two weeks! X

It took four to five weeks for me to get a negative. That was including almost three weeks bleeding after an 11 week loss.
