Anything besides D&C?

Two weeks ago I found out I was 9 weeks pregnant. I had no idea because I had been spotting the whole time. I am 39 so I thought it was just nature. I was sick for over a month with what I was told was a stomach virus, 3rd doc suggested that I take a test. So boom test was positive immediately had an ultrasound, and strong heartbeat 162. Told I had a perfectly healthy baby despite the bleeding and cramping. Anyway today my uterus measures 11 weeks 3 days but the baby only measures 9 and no heartbeat. I do not want to have a D & C because I take lexapro and I don't want to be put under. Does anyone know of another way to complete miscarriage or be awake during d & c? Btw i have had two healthy pregnancies which I am not ungrateful for. Just grieving and looking for help.

Have they offered a medically induced miscarriage? This is what I had and I was given two tablets and then miscarried at home. I was a similar gestation to you when the miscarriage was discovered. I don’t know if this is how it works in the UK but this is what I had in Ireland (was told I could wait for a D&C but it would take weeks because they were so busy Hmm).

So many of us that this happens to. I was offered a spinal instead which I may do. I was wondering about meds to speed up labor. My doctor seems to think d&c is the best way for no future complications in other pregnancies. I just am a chicken about being knocked out after reading about reactions with my medication.
