Anyone had tests for recurrent mcs?

Currently going through my third consecutive miscarriage. I'm hoping to be referred, via the NHS, for tests at my local hospital. I think it is a Tommy's centre. Anyone been referred and could tell me about their experiences with it and what kind of time frame I'd be looking at? I know lots of times the tests come back showing nothing but I need some ray of hope after everything!

Hi Polly. I've also had three miscarriages and finally have my appointment at the recurrent miscarriage clinic coming up next week. Will happily check in and tell you what happens - I'm being seen at uclh. It took 2.5 months for my referral to appt, but there was a mix up and my referral went to the wrong place at first. So probably more like 6-8 weeks wait. Where in the country are you?

Hi burgerlady, thanks for replying :) sorry to hear about the mix up they had! I'm in Birmingham so will be referred to the Tommy's centre at the women's hospital. It'd be great if you could update me, always nice to know what to expect. Only thing is I'm not sure whether I want them to find a cause or not! Good luck with your appt!
