Lower back pain

Hi,
I'm so sorry you're reading this. What a crappy place to be Flowers

So after one healthy pregnancy and birth in July 2017 we got pregnant again, first attempt. Sadly things weren't meant to be this time and I miscarried naturally on Thurs/Friday. The bleeding was horrendous so I ended up in a and e but following checks on Friday and Saturday, I'm relieved to know there's no need for any intervention.

Today the bleeding has practically stopped but I've just started up with terrible power back ache. It's making sitting and moving really difficult. There's no way I'd be able to bath my 1 yr old tonight.

Is this normal? The cramping was never really bad but this is just awful...

Any ideas? X

I don’t think I have any helpful advice but as I was having my MC in April (and I mean literally as in on the toilet at home in the middle of the night!) I had the most excruciating lower back pain and it has now lasted ever since. I mean it’s not constantly there but it flares up every now and then and I can’t lay down on a flat surface (like sunbathe on a towel in the park for example!) as my lower back just kills me. Never had lower back pain before the miscarriage. It is something I might go back to the doctors about.

So sorry you’ve found yourself here. Flowers

That's exactly how my back feels too. I went to the drs on Monday and he said it was normal but I was expecting it to have died down a little by now. He prescribed Naproxen but they're not really touching the pain, it's so sharp. I'm guessing it's all hormonal...
Hope you're feeling better soon Flowers
