Last year I unfortunately had 2 miscarriages and as you can imagine, myself and my partner were devastated. We have recently decided to try again and I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw I was pregnant. Everything seemed to be going fine until I started to get a pain in my left side and began spotting. So I went to a&e where I had my bloods taken and a u/s. The scan seemed fine and I was told to come back in 10 days for another scan as well as have bloods taken every 48 hours.
Now when I had my first lot of blood taken, they were happy with the hcg levels but wanted to keep an eye on them. 2nd blood test, the levels hadn’t gone up like they’d wanted and today I had 3rd test. They called me and said my levels had dropped. Only slightly but a drop is a drop right?
I’m scared. Potentially Having to go through another miscarriage, I just can’t mentally or physically do it. I’m trying to be optimistic but struggling. Xxx
