Miscarriage at 6 weeks

Hi ladies,
I found out today after some bleeding and a scan that I'm no longer pregnant. The scan didn't show anything at all and it's not ectopic because my ovaries were clear. I'm just wondering does anyone know what's happened to the baby? Does it just re absorb it's self? Also can anyone give me an idea of what to expect?

Six weeks is tiny, maybe you already bled it out. They had trouble finding mine on the scan at six weeks (lost it later).

With both of my miscarriages (7 and 10 weeks) they’ve seen nothing but a few days later I have passed what was definitely a sac. There’s a good thread on here called something like The practicalities of miscarriage. It gives you a very widespread of experiences and some useful tips to help you feel a bit more informed.

I don't think I have bled enough it literally been spotting when wiping. Having a few more cramps today stocked up on pads just hope it starts soon to get it over and done with. Thanks for your lovely messages everyone
