Could they have missed PCOS?

Hi all.

I haven't posted in a while - not since my miscarriage last year at age 29.

I've been having irregular periods for the last 7 months and after some blood tests they tell me I have raised prolactin and PCOS could be the cause.

I'm going in for a scan hopefully soon, so I can know either way.

My question is - could it be possible I've had pcos all along and it caused my miscarriage? Could they have missed it on my follow up scan last year?? They didn't say anything was abnormal but maybe they missed it.

I feel very low, especially as DP wants to wait to try again and I'm desperate to start trying. I managed to get my head around waiting a couple of years even though it's so painful. Now I'm worried my chances are getting pregnant are getting lower and I might have more miscarriages if it turns out I do have pcos. Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks all xxx
