Miscarriage- how long for body to return to normal

Hi all

I had a miscarriage last Monday at 5-6 weeks, hadn’t at the time even realised I was pregnant so it was a huge shock!

Just hoping to find out how soon everyone returned to normal in the way of sore boobs, hormones etc?

I took a test this morning to see if it had gotten any fainter / not shown up at all but still a strong positive.

I have a scan on Wednesday to confirm that all the bleeding was definetly a miscarriage and evrything has now gone

I had surgical management and I bled for around a week after it but I felt fine pretty quickly after that. It took exactly 6 weeks to get my period back. I did find I was getting faint positives for around 5 weeks afterwards but bloods confirmed HCG levels were dropping. Hope you're feeling OK and sorry for your loss. It's not easy. X

Looking forward to my appointment Wednesday morning, last Wednesday I had an scan after two days of heavy bleeding and was told the sack was still there but not big enough to make everything out so hopefully when I go back Wednesday it’ll either be there & growing or will have passed (this is most likely) Either way will be nice to know what’s happening and not be in limbo! Hope everything is good with you x
