Bleeding at 6 weeks

So I'm about 6 weeks pregnant and I started bleeding yesterday very light brown slowly getting heavier to a light pink. Over night I had nothing got up this morning and have been passing large clots about 4 in total and bleeding but only shows when I wipe not much is going on the pad. Has anyone had this happen to them and turns out the baby has been able to survive the bleed?
I've had a miscarriage in the past and I don't have any pain like I had with that one and the colour of the clots this time are different to last time. I have a scan booked on Friday with EPU but my mind is going into over drive. We have been trying for so long and just want this baby to stick. Any thoughts or experiences would be very appreciated. Thanks

Didn’t want to see you without a reply.

My advice would be, to call the EPU in the morning. Explain what is happening and tell them you need a bit of reassurance. Should you see your GP? Can they fit you in at the Epu?

They won’t mind you calling at all.

Stay positive. Sleep well x

Hello. Just checking in to see if you’re ok?

I had my scan this morning and unfortunately we've lost the baby. Absolutely heart broken and currently under investigation for an ectopic just to cover all bases. Another miscarriage we need to deal with but it only makes you stronger right?
Thank you for replying x
