Can anybody see my thread???

Hello, Just wondering if anybody has any similar experiences? I found out I was pregnant and from my date of my last monthly I should be approx 10 weeks. Approx 3 weeks ago I noticed blood on the tissue when I wiped, I phoned my midwife and they arranged for me to go to early pregnancy unit. I had an internal scan and they advised me that the gestational sac had implanted too low in the uterus and it looked like I was having a miscarriage. They also advised they thought the embryo had stopped growing at 5 weeks.They arranged for another scan a week later (last Thursday) to be sure if the next steps. At my second scan I was told that the embryo had grown from the week before and a foetal pole was now visible which was not before. I asked how has it grown if the embryo stopped growing at 5 weeks and she could not give me an answer. I’ve now got to wait until Friday for my third scan to see if they can detect a heartbeat(wasn’t visible previously). I’m currently still spotting on and off and have very swollen ankles. I’m so uncertain about the situation and just wondering if anybody can help with similar stories xx

Hello, my babies never grew after a scan in which they were confirmed miscarriages (so no stories to share), but I just wanted to say that, despite the odds, I hope you get to see a heartbeat this Friday. Maybe your ovulation was late?

I want to tell you everything will be fine but tbh no one knows. My story isn’t positive so please ignore it if you don’t want to hear bad outcomes.

We went for a scan when I should have been 8 weeks. The baby measured 5 weeks and 5 days with a heartbeat. They said I had the wrong dates (I knew I didn’t). We went back a week later and baby had grown 3 days so 6 weeks 1 day now and still a strong heartbeat. They said baby must be small. A week later I started bleeding. My midwife said a small amount was normal but I pushed for a scan. Baby had died. They couldn’t tell me when because the pole had started to shrink. I opted for a medical miscarriage and had that this week. Physically I am quite weak but I feel very calm. Maybe things haven’t actually settled in for me yet or maybe it’s because I had forseen that this wouldn’t go well.

I’m not particularly religious and I don’t know if you are but I pray with all my heart that you get a positive outcome. And that we both end up with healthy babies one day xxxx

It is definitely positive that your baby has grown a week in a week though :-)
I’m sorry if my previous post is negative, I am one of those people who thinks the worst so I’m more protected when it happens xxxx
