So long story and I’ve posted before but never seem to get a lot of responses :-(

Went for a scan at what I thought was 8 weeks as had got a BFP 4 weeks prior. Baby measured 5 weeks 4 days and had a heartbeat. Came back a week later and baby only had grown 3 days so now measured 6 weeks and had a strong heartbeat.

Obviously this worried me as first off behind dates and now slow growth :-/ the midwife told me not to worry because if they didn’t know the dates they’d say everything looks perfect?! But we do know the dates!

Since Friday I have had bleeding, started off brown and now red (sometimes bright sometimes dark). Not a great deal, more than spotting but nowhere near a period. I have also had light cramps.

Got a scan booked for Wednesday.

I’ve had enough. I just want it to be over, I can’t keep being on edge like I have been for the last 3 weeks. My husband is away atm and is back on Thursday but I just need to know what’s going on. I know it may sound awful but I want the relief of finally knowing.

Has anyone had anything similar? I know you can’t tell me what will happen but it would be reassuring to hear some familiar stories :-)

I went for a scan due to brown spotting at what I thought was 8 weeks. Baby measured only just over 6 weeks but everything looked otherwise normal.

Baby is now 12.

I had the same, dates said 8 Weeks and scan (after bleeding) said 6 Weeks. Again, baby is now snoozing in his cot next to me.
It sounds awful but what helped me in those tough early days was to try to forget I was pregnant. To just get on with life knowing nothing could be done and to let nature take it’s course. I hope you have a happy outcome

Thanks ladies :-) I’m trying not to think about it but the constant bleeding (fair enough not a lot) has me accepting it’s over. I guess sometimes things aren’t meant to be x
