Confused

I stared spotting yesterday morning which got darker as the day went on but no red blood. Went to early pregnancy unit and was checked over by a midwife who assured me it was probably due to an ectropy but requested a scan for reassurance. The scan showed signs of a pregnancy measuring 6 weeks however by my calculations I’m 9 weeks! Today I’ve had cramping and red blood! Midwife last night was fab but ones on today don’t seem concerned! I’m pretty sure I’m having a miscarriage and am really scared and feel all alone as my partner is being so bloody positive!!
The pain is so intense and I’ve had paracetamol and codeine, a bath and a hot water bottle. Not sure what else to do now! Getting scanned on Monday!

Hi @MrsNoble2019, did they say there was a heart beat? If they did then fingers crossed. I had a scan at 8w measured 6w3d and no heart beat, Partner also remained positive but I just knew.
I had extreme pain when miscarrying, the only thing that worked was codine when I was in hospital.

No there was no heartbeat but they said a 6 weeks they wouldn’t expect one! I know I’m more that 6 weeks as had positive test 5 weeks ago! I’m pretty sure this is the end of it but I hate all the waiting I wish they’d just take me in and give me a D&C xx

I had pretty much exactly the same and unfortunately it was a MMC. So sorry

I was the same as you, knew I was 8 weeks but they said I measured 6. We had a strong heartbeat so they kept saying it was fine. I was obviously very worried. Since Saturday I have had bright red/dark red bleeding (not a lot more spotting or maybe a very very very light period). I’ve also had a tiny bit of cramp tonight. I’m convinced it’s a MC as my symptoms have also died down. We have to go for a scan on Wednesday. It’s frustrating not knowing isn’t it! And everyone tells you it’s fine but you know something doesn’t feel right?

I’m heading back to hospital this afternoon as no pain relief helping me! I know my body and this is the end of this pregnancy which I am accepting of, I just wish it would hurry up as the pain is unbearable!

@Mrsnoble2019 hope you are feeling better :-) I’ve had light but bright red bleeding since Saturday (no real cramp and no clots) so they are having me in for a scan this afternoon. I’ve taken time off work to rest (midwife said to take it easy but I don’t think it’s going to help anything!) so lots of people have been messaging me. I know people are trying to say the right thing but lots of them have said oh still got our fingers crossed for you etc. I know they mean well but it just makes me feel worse when I know it’s not going to be a good outcome and then I’m going to have to text and tell them :-/

I miscarried yesterday in the hospital! I knew it was happening so wasn’t too unprepared! I’ll not be trying again till after we are married in September 2019 as this was last chance before then! I really wish you all the best and hope you have a positive outcome! Let me know xx

When I say enjoy the texts I mean once you tell people sad news they don’t know how to react so now I’m all alone with no one texting xx

Not good news, they’ve offered me surgical but chosen medical and they agreed (after a while) for me to try at home as my dh is medical. Thank you all for being so kind xxxx
