Smell after mc

Sorry for tmi, but obviously I took note of the warnings about infection after mc, I had medical management 2 weeks ago, stopped bleeding about 3 days ago but getting slight stringy light bloody discharge, with this there is a really strong copper smell, it just smells like very strong blood, but not necessarily really bad, could this be infection or just because I’ve been bleeding so long? Feeling completely fine, no pain or anything

I would call the EPU or your doctor just to be on the safe side. Any unusual smells should be checked, to be on the safe side.

I’m currently 9 days post medical management and get the same brown stringy discharge with no odour.

I’m going for a scan tomorrow to check everything’s out so I’ll mention it then, Discharge has gone sort of a watered down red or even orange colour but not sure if it’s just blood mixing with other lady garden stuff 😂 really sorry this has happened to you

By the way if it is the start of an infection what is the route most likely taken? Is it just antibiotics?

Likely antibiotics, however they may want to scan again to make sure everything has been passed. If not, they may consider medical management again or EPRC.
