Sorry for the TMI in advance! From my period dates i am measuring at 5 weeks today, but i would have conceived on the weekend of the 28th/29th april, so really only 3 weeks.
I started having really bad pains on thursday evening, which carried on yesterday morning, and then at lunchtime i had bright red blood when i wiped, followed by lots of pain. I bled a tiny bit that afternoon and passed one small clot. I've been in lots of of pain since, no blood over night, but ive had a bit more bleeding this morning, altho mainly when i wipe. It's definitely blood like a normal period would be, but i would usually be quite heavy and this is a lot more painful.
Im 90% sure i'm miscarrying. This is my 4th pregnancy. My first one was a fine and healthy pregnancy, 2nd one was a missed miscarriage. I got to 11 weeks and then started having pain. Had a scan and they told me baby had stopped growing at 9 weeks. I booked in for surgery the next day, went home and had lots of pain, mini contractions and passed it all naturally within the space of a few hours. It was lots and lots of heavy bleeding, and lots of clots very quickly. I still had the surgery the next day for restrained products
My 3rd pregnancy was successful, altho i had pain and spotting. More a brown colour than red/period bleeding.
I just don't understand why this is taking so long? I'm in so much pain i can barely move at times. I have rung EPAC and they won't scan until 6 weeks, they just told me to do a pregnancy test in a couple of weeks. I dont want to be having a miscarriage, buy at the same time if that's whats happening, i would like it over and done with quickly!
