hiya, i just wanted to tell you all my story. i have had 2 successful pregnancies with my eldest being 8, my youngest is 2, i have been trying to fall pregnant ever since having my youngest and unfortunately had 3x miscarriages, lasting until i was 6 weeks (had a scan and had lost baby a week later when going bac k for scan)with little as to know why? i have since been referred to gynaecology department and had a blood test, been advised to take 75mg Aspirin including folic acid which should solve my problem, id also have an early scan at 7 weeks instead of 12 to monitor the pregnancy.. i have been taking the tablets a couple of weeks now and keeping my fingers crossed for when i am due PMT as to whether i will be pregnant successfully or not? i have since read some interesting stories on people being prescribed aspirin to help pregnancy and it has worked. i will update you all when i see what happens when due PMT. hope everyone is well! any other stories or info would be a great help also :)

Keep us posted! I’m trying BA when I start TTC again (currently taking a break)
Can I ask why they advised you BA? I understand it’s to help with blood clotting; from a teenager I have had very clotty periods just on a normal regular cycle and and I wonder if this could indicate that I have clotting issues and could benefit from BA? I know I need to go to a GP and ask these types of questions but I always feel like doctors are overly cautious and a little hesitant to give out that kind of advice! Obviously they are for a good reason haha but sometimes I get so frustrated as I just want a straight answer! X

After 3 miscarriages I have tested positive for lupus anticoagulant antibodies. Have appointment with consultant next month to discuss

Hiya! of course i will keep all you beautiful ladies up to date :-) .. I know what you mean, after i had suffered my 3 MC only then i got told the options ie getting it investigated ect, it went through to GP which then wrote a letter to gynaecology , got 1 appointment.
I was incredibly nervous before and quite annoyed when i came out, as i couldn't believe all the MW, nurses and doctors id spoken to during each miscarriage, not one of them suggested this aspirin thing
In the first visit asked a bunch of general questions and advised aspirin being successful and to take that then to also have an early scan at 7 weeks

I came home to vigorously research on aspirin and pregnancy, i have found that its meant to help those that have had clotting, miscarriage history of 3 or more (will only be transferred after 3 miscarriages unless otherwise advised) .......So with now being on the aspirin and folic acid for almost 2 months now i am hoping in a week or 2 its going to be a positive result!!

I must admit i have been feeling different but i think that is probably my mind tricking me! :-)

Good Luck Dolls!
