Recurrent miscarriage tests?

Hi All,

I have sadly just had a second miscarriage within 6 months and wondered whether anyone else has experience of managing to get a referral from your GP to get some tests done at this stage.

So far I have been told that for any referral on NHS to be done you need to have experienced 3 miscarriages, however the thought of risking things again is just too much at the moment...

So sorry if you are reading this in a similar situation, it’s not a nice place to be. Any advice anyone has would be wonderful.

X

Sorry for your losses. I am in the same boat had a MC in November and another end of January, they will not do anything for me until/if I have another one. I am absolutely terrified to try again, also since the last one I had a lengthy internal exam and not been right since, I’m still back and forth and have had to go private as nothing is getting done. I did ask about private tests but they advised they are not advisable as they can be very invasive. I really wish there was more support out there for us. Hope you are ok x
