Low hcg levels

I have low hcg levels, possibly 4/5 wks pregnant,
24th was 138
26th was 169
1st was 246
3rd was 306
Hospital is saying levels are so low and not doubling that pregnancy won’t continue, possibly ectopic as progesterone came bk at 30,
They want me to have injection to dissolve pregnancy, just don’t know what to do

I had something similar. Have they given you a scan to see if they can find anything? They couldn’t see anything on mine at all, so couldn’t rule out ectopic.

They offered me the injection, but said that we wouldn’t be able to ttc again for 3 months due to the chemicals hanging around in your system. I almost agreed, but then they said they would have to get me a room on the ward and I’d have to stay and dh wasn’t with me so I ended up declining. It was a really difficult decision to make in my own. But I started bleeding not long after.l, can’t rememver exactly how long though. This is going back almost 18 months so my memory is a bit hazy.

I think if there is a possibility that it is ectopic it may be safer to have the injection because otherwise you could end up damaging a tube and and putting yourself in danger.

I had a internal on 24th nothing found and internal on 1st again nothing found, I’ve been bleeding every day since the 26th, mostly In the morning it stops by early afternoon, have bellyache like period pains,
Just want to pass naturally so we can try again asap, hospital told me 6 month wait after injection.
I bleed with other pregnancy’s and never had levels checked till 8 plus wks
Just so confused

Mine were similar.

19 Dec - blood test HCG 175 10am

20 Dec - referred to hospital for possible ectopic, blood test HCG 195 2pm

21 Dec - blood test HCG 209 9am

27 Dec - blood test HCG 537 9am

28 Dec - scan at hospital ruled out ectopic, found gestational sac measuring 5 weeks, blood test HCG 631 11am

4 Jan - scan at hospital, gestational sac measuring slightly bigger, no heartbeat or baby, blood test HCG 1618 7pm

6 Jan - blood test HCG 1859 6pm

Jut thought I’d copy and paste my notes on it for you.
So they thought mine was ectopic but they did find a sac in my uterus at 5 weeks.
My sac was completely empty. Blighted ovum maybe.
I don’t know what to suggest for you but maybe request another scan to double check it’s not ectopic before you make any decisions x

Oh and I’ll add that on the first blood test on the 19th Dec I was 14dpo so 4 weeks exactly x

I’m having bloods done again Wednesday and scan Thursday, I’ve got my head around it ending in miscarriage. Just don’t want the injection if it’s not ectopic coz u then have to wait 3-6 months to try again, I’d like to pass naturally if possible

Yeh I totally understand hun. I wouldn’t have wanted the injection either for that reason.
Unfortunately with HCG numbers like that I don’t think it’s going to end well but I’m really hoping It’s not ectopic for you.
I had time to come to terms with the prospect of miscarriage when I found out how low mine were. X
