Pregnancy after Miscarriage

Hi this is my first time on here. Just wanted a little advice, I had a miscarriage on the 12th of March. I went for a scan on the 13th and it was confirmed there was no sac there. I returned to the hospital the following week and they said my hormone levels have dropped. It’s now 6 weeks later I still had no period but for the past two weeks I’ve had tender boobs and slightly sore nippes. I did a pregnancy test and it came back positive. I went to see a doc yesterday they took my bloods MSNBC’s the early pregnancy unit have me booked in tomorrow for a scan they said my hormone levels are 1100! Do you think this could mean This is a new pregnancy or is it possible it’s from the last?

Did you get a negative pregnancy test after your miscarriage?

It's possible it's a new pregnancy. It's also possible it's hormones from the one you lost, especially if the miscarriage was incomplete and depending on how high the HCG was before you miscarried?

I hope for you it's a new bean making its way in to the world!

Hi, I didn’t test inbetween! I had a scan yesterday and it is a new pregnancy!! Only very early, got to go back in 2 weeks time for another scan! I can’t believe it never expected it so soon! Just so worrying and scary!

The hospital confirmed that my HCG has dropped today, and told me I can see this as the first day of a new cycle. I am hoping to get pregnant again soon, but I also don't know how I'll feel if/when I do; I think I'd feel terrified.

I'm all for keeping positive. It's hard sometimes, but it's really a life-saver.

Just take each day as it comes and keep up those positive thoughts.
