? Miscarriage or just strange AF

I'm not TTC but but not taking precautions either - I'm not aware of being pregnant either however I do test occasionally as last month had sore boobs etc but AF came although short. Anyway before Easter Sunday had lower back pain, Had sex in PM but Easter Sunday morning I got up from bed and red blood was pouring down my legs, had shower and put pad on presuming it was early AF never had one like it though, had minimal bleeding for about 3 days and now its stopped although still have gripping abdo pains - Would this have been a very early mc or just a weird period? How would I find out? Do I need to see a GP? TIA for your comments x

I think the best thing to do would be to contact 111 or your GP.

Maybe take a pregnancy test too. I'm just concerned in case you've had/have an eptopic pregnancy which can be very dangerous.

Regardless, if you're periods are odd you should probably discuss this with your doctor anyway.

@Snoopy2002 I've experienced exactly the same thing twice in the last few weeks. I had a miscarriage back in January and not had a period yet so I think it's just a very thick lining that gets irritated during sex and bleeds a little. I've only experienced it once before and that was when I was pregnant. If you're worried, definitely contact your go as it can be symptomatic of something that needs treatment. Hope it's all fine for you.
