Hi all ,

I think I have just gone through a chemical pregnancy and I just wanted to ask others if they experienced the same as me. On the 10th march we dtd we are not planning for a baby as have a 16month old but got a bit carried away and used the withdrawal method usually we use something but partner said he thinks he withdrew in time but couldn't be sure anyway I thought it would be okay as I had just come off the pill (hormonal contraception doesn't agree with me) and that I would probably not be ovulating for a while , but later that week on the 16/17th I had really bad cramps and slight spotting over the 2 days and thought nothing more than my body kickstarting again and may be ovulating , but then on the 22nd I started to get sore boobs as if I was going to come on , and then the nausea hit terribly , and started cramping and twinging and I felt exactly like I did when I was pregnant with my lg , it was so distinctive and I was so sure pregnant so I took a test on the 26th and the most faint line come up even so I could see it but partner could not , but this happened with my lg and they got darker eventually then did one on the 28th at this point I'm late for my period so the line should be dark but it was still very faint and then did a final one on the Friday morning and nothing no line and that was with first wee in the morning , then that evening I started spotting which progressed onto bleeding I read up on cp and read that women had clots but I don't seem to have had any just a very heavy period which stopped a day ago and now I seem to have started spitting again , has anyone had this , is this normal ? I don't know if my cycle is now messed up because of this , I am just a bit worried x

I have just gone through exactly the same - also have a 16 month old. I had a BFP last weekend and started spotting Friday and woke to full on bleeding Saturday but it wasn't painful and I didn't pass any clots. The tests got fainter and then turned negative. I hope you're ok Thanks I'm pretty gutted about mine x

Sorry to hear you are going through the same thing , I was upset but then also confused as I wasn't planning a pregnancy but I would have gone through with it if it progressed , hope your okay also , it was painful for me too , I never really get really bad cramps with af but this time I did so much I took painkillers x

It's funny because I didn't even know at this stage with my first. My GP said once tests go negative it is a 'complete miscarriage'. I have been quite tearful today but just keep telling myself it wasn't meant to be. Hope you feel better soon x

I knew so early with my little girl but I was charting and doing ovulation tests , this time I feel so out of sync with my body , I hope you are feeling better soon also x
