Advice after medical management

I had medical management and I believe I passed my baby on Wednesday 21/3/18. All of my pregnancy symptoms have gone and the bleeding and pain has nearly gone. My problem is I can't stop vomiting and having diarrhoea and constipation. Is this normal or should I go see the docs. This is my first miscarriage, it is a missed miscarriage of 8 weeks development. I don't want to be a pain but I don't know what to do. Any advice would be great

Hi @Lilimum4

I'm so sorry your having to go through thisThanks Especially with having to deal with all that as well.
I had medical management over the weekend for missed miscarriage (which failed) but was told that the tablets can cause diarrhea and gastrointestinal upset ( I had a bit of diarrhea) but 5 days does seem a bit long. Could still be pregnancy hormones if they've not completely gone yet- did you have any of these symptoms with the pregnancy before?
It could be also a stomach bug or something else though. I'd give your doctors a call & ask for a call back or your early pregnancy unit maybe might be more useful. Might be worth doing a pregnancy test too to see if your hormones are still up.

Thank you I'm waiting for a call back now x
I'm so sorry that you are also going through this it is just so awful. I feel so out of control which is hard as I'm a self confessed control freak. I send you and your family all the love in the world at such a difficult time xx

@Lilimum4 I am sorry you're going through this. Did you get your call back?
I'd suggest you be seen and also have a transvaginal ultrasound just to check everything is okay. My only reason for suggesting is I ended up suffering complications myself after they thought everything had passed. Turned out it hadn't. So I always think you should get checked if anything out of the ordinary. I hope you're okay.

Thanks yes I got a call back. I went in and my doctor said its likely that I picked up a bug at the same time or its a mild reaction to the medication. I am to go straight to a & e if it gets worse. But I feel a bit better now. Thank you for answering my question. Xx
