I have a GP appointment in 2 weeks time as I didn't ask an "emergency" appt, which would be booked in today. .. I just want to know what's going on.
So my periods as like clockwork on day 26 of my cycle. Always have been.
Were TTC for a sibling for our son who is 3.
So we started ttc in December, then in January, my period didn't arrive so I took a test, which was negative. Rather confused I waited then AF arrived 5 days late which was quite unusual and it was a LOT heavier than usual too.
Because my period was late I was not sure when I'd be ovulating because it meant my cycle was off track. ... I invested in an ovulation stick and started on day 7 as instructed, but it immediately, on day 7 it flashed up showing I was ovulating with a smiley face on the stick.
I read up on it and apparently traces of pregnancy hormone can make ovulation tests look like you're ovulating?
My period then arrived like normal on day on day 26 after we DTD that month every few days.
So now we're in March and the SAME thing has happened again. .. I ovulated on day 14 but period did not arrive on day 26 like normal, but I tested negative but now it's arrived 6 days late! And it's far heavier than normal. ...
So to me it seems as though I'm getting pregnant but having a very early miscarriage? It's really really unusual to have periods on day 31 of my cycle, as in it's never happened until December when we started TTC.
Just frustrated and confused really as to what's happening.
