MVA Monday

Hi all I am booked in for MVA on Monday after 2 lots of medical management not working for a missed miscarriage at around 8 weeks.
What can I expect please. Im very nervous but didn't want to be put to sleep so picked the MVA. Can anyone share their experiences please. Thank you so much xx

I’m so sorry to hear that you’ve got to go through this. I have had an MVA twice. Like you, I wanted to avoid a general anaesthetic. I had also had a missed miscarriage. The MVA was painful, but manageable, and over very quickly. The first was about 20 mins and the second 10mins. I recovered very quickly physically too- no pain at all afterwards.
