Has anyone been prescribed Cytotec at 6 weeks along? This was my first pregnancy and I was on holiday when I tested positive at around 5 weeks. Shortly after I tested positive I started spotting brown discharge and eventually this turned into cramping and then red blood. I knew something was wrong so I went to the hospital as soon as I was back and they gave me an internal scan and they confirmed it. The doctor prescribed me Cytotec 200 (6 pills) He told me to take two that evening, two the following morning and then two again that evening. I have completed this and now most of the clots seem to have passed. (I finished taking the tablets yesterday) I am still bleeding lightly every time I use the bathroom. Does anyone know if this is normal? I don't feel like I was given enough information and now I feel worried and quite alone. It seems most people wait and have a natural miscarriage for an early miscarriage or am I wrong? Is it normal to bleed for some time after you have taken the pills? Please forgive me if I come across as insensitive in any way. I really don't know a lot about this and I can't find a lot of information either. Any help or advice would be of comfort x
