When did your first period and ovulation come back after mc?

I was told by one of the nurses at the early pregnancy unit that this miscarriage bleeding ISN'T classed as a period, and that after the bleeding of the miscarriage it could take between 2-6 weeks until my first period could come and even then, I may not ovulate properly until after that first period due to high hormones and still BFing my DD for bedtime .
When did you all have your first ovulation and period?

I didn’t track mine really but I had a miscarriage on 15th April and was pregnant again by July.
My usual pattern after a miscarriage was generally the same (I’ve had a few)

It took me six weeks and four days to get my period after the MVA. I was 12 weeks so HCG was high. I ovulated two weeks prior to my period so ovulated about four and a half weeks following the procedure.

After my first miscarriage (6+1) I had a period 28 days to the day. I’ve just had a miscarriage at 8+4 and so am waiting for my period. It took almost 3 weeks to get a negative test so I think it may be longer than 4 weeks this time
