Possible second mc, trying to stay hopeful

So I thought I was 7 weeks pregnant, went to the dr. Got the pregnancy confirmed, and had my 8 week ultrasound scheduled for this Thursday. When I went to the dr. 3 days ago she did a Pap smear, and warned I may have some spotting. Today, spotting started off very light and brownish in color, but then got heavier and bright red with some clots. There was enough to fill a pad. It is now subsiding some, but not completely. I went to the er and my levels are 1133 and going up normal. They did an ultrasound and didn’t see anything in my uterus, but also said I may be earlier than I think and they normal wouldn’t see anything until levels are about 1500. This is my second pregnancy. Had a mc this time last year with no bleeding, just started as pain. And then got told the bleeding would come. Super confused and hoping for the best.. dr. Said it’s pretty much a waiting game and could go both ways. I go back in 2 days for repeat blood test and ultrasound :(

Hi OP easier said than done but from what you've said there I think things will be ok. The bleeding is likely caused by the Pap smear and you wouldn't expect to see anything on an ultrasound at this stage. You're in track. I'm sorry about your previous miscarriage really hoping things all work out perfectly this time for you.

I had a mc last year, then fell pregnant again within three months. At around 13 weeks I started to get some weird brown clots and a little bleeding coming through. I totally thought I was going to have another mc despite already having my 12 week ultrasound all clear. I waited it out and it was all fine, I don’t know what it was about! Hopefully it will be the same for you.

I had a really big bleed at 7 weeks pregnant, no reason for it whatsoever and I also thought I was having a mc. My baby girl is 9 month old now and perfect.

Please try to not worry, which I know is so much easier said than done, but everything was fine for me xx

May be TMI! But posting my pic of bleeding/tissue! Anyone had tissue come out like this that’s went on the have a healthy pregnancy? 😔 This is all that cake out besides more blood, and I’m actually not bleeding at all now.. ugh. So confused

I had some clots but can't see from the pic if that's what it looked like.

How are you this morning? Has the bleeding still stopped? And when do you go back to be checked again?
