Think I know the answer, but thoughts?

Hi everyone,

I am 5wks3. I started to spot a couple of days ago, but tried not to worry as I know this is common, and the Clearblue digital had gone up to 2-3 when I tested that day.

However, when I took another one today (yes I know, this way madness lies), the test only read 1-2. Used FMU. I am still spotting mostly brown blood (a couple of times I've thought it was taking a definite turn for the red but then it reverts to brown). It's only noticeable when I wipe, nothing on pad. I haven't had any cramping at all. But I feel that the 2 factors of the test and the spotting combined can't be good.

The earliest I could get a scan was late next week. I had MMC last year and am finding it hard to be positive, but even putting that aside and looking at things objectively I feel fairly sure this is not going to have the ending I want. Any thoughts or similar experiences?

Hi sorry your going through this. I have also had 2 miscarriages a mmc at 9 weeks and one at 5+5. With the 5+5 I started spotting brown in the morning by the afternoon it turned to dark red with the slightest of cramps. I had a scan that afternoon which confirmed my womb was empty. Also I never got a 3+ on digi with that miscarriage.
Try not to worry. Easier said than done. Sending hugs xx
