6wks pregnant today, went to toilet last night (10:30pm) and there was a tiny spot of bright red blood. Have felt crampy all night, and went to toilet several times in night but nothing else. Went to toilet this morning and again smallish amount of red blood (10:30am) when I wiped only. Phoned nhs24 and waiting (still waiting an hour later) on local midwife centre calling me back. Never gone through this before but pretty sure this is not looking good and feel really sad

To make matters worse I am due to fly tomorrow afternoon with work, i’m leading the work thing we’re going down for and have several visitors from another country coming over too for the week down in England. Don’t know what to do, can i fly? Should I even consider flying as I don’t have a clue what I’m in for if this is indeed a miscarriage? Will I be signed off work? I need to let my boss know ASAP but midwifery service are taking ages which is not helping my anxiety.
