How long to wait to TTC after D&C

My nurse said to wait 1 cycle to TTC after a D&C but I've read that's just for dating purposes.

Other things I've read say that you are at higher risk of future miscarriage if you conceive straight away (I.e. Straight after, not waiting for first cycle).

We're ready to try again straight away and will if the only issue is with dating but will wait if it would increase any risks.

Does anyone know or have any experience?

We tried immediately, I didn’t hear anything about increased mc risk, just increased chance of conception. If you’re ready to go, then go for it. All I wanted after my lay was to be pregnant again, and I did track ovulation, which would have helped with dates.

Thanks - that's useful to know. I think we will just crack on and start trying straight away. Will start using ovulation sticks to see when I ovulate.
