Hi all,

I miscarriaged at 7 weeks naturally, suffered spotting for 4 weeks then again more heavy bleeding / clots, at which point I thought it may be the end.....2 weeks later a day of spotting then a normal period. Upon a routine visit I now learn at day 12 of my cycle my lining is 23mm and also ovulating I will not conceive as the egg will not attach so I need a D&C..... do I need this procedure?will the lining not shed naturally and thin out? Could not having the procedure lead to more complications? And can I actually get pregnant with the lining this thick?

Sorry so many questions but the doctor just seems to advise the procedure is the only way!!

I would have thought if it was going to shed naturally It would have done so by now.

Have they tried triggering a withdrawal bleed using a progestogen like norethisterone?
