Had a scan on 22/11 and was told baby had shrunk and I will miscarry. They said baby had stopped growing at some point in the previous week. How long will it take before I start to bleed? Still feel very pregnant which is awful, very sore boobs, horrible sickness etc. Just want to know when it will all be done with.

OP is am very sorry for your loss and that you are in this horrible situation. How many weeks along are you? With my first mc I bled over about three weeks and eventually had an ERPC. My last one was a mmc with no warning signs so I once again had surgery to speed up the process. Will all of my experiences, three in total I have still had pregancy symptoms until after my first period following the loss. Did they not discuss your options with you at the scan?

I had irregular cycles before I got pregnant so not 100% sure but possibly 8 weeks this week. It's been around a week and a half since they estimated baby stopped growing. They went through my options but I want to miscarry naturally. I know that means waiting, I just thought it would have started by now. I have another scan on Wednesday this week.

I'm so sorry for your loss :( I had a mmc in July at 12 weeks and it's heartbreaking 😔I had medical management which for me was awful as it was incomplete and had to have a d&c so I really hope your natural miscarriage is better than that! As soon as I stated bleeding I stopped feeling pregnant so I'd assume it'll be the same no matter how you go around it. Let yourself be sad and angry for a while it's natural and makes you feel better I think xxx
